Time: June 11, 2023, 1-6pm Location: Fraser River Discovery Centre (788 Quayside Drive, New Westminster, BC) Saving Our Planet: Faith in Action II is a multi-faith event focused on the climate crisis and its impact on our planet and communities. The event is co-hosted with our partners at Foundation for a Path Forward and builds on the success of their previous events in 2021 and 2022. The event aims to bring together diverse faith communities to take action on climate change and address related issues like climate justice, environmental racism, ocean pollution, and emergency preparedness. Attend MVA-member Urban Aboriginal Ministry's Friday Drum Circles. This is a sacred sharing time to further our commitment to reconciliation, with a community snack and coffee afterwards to reflect on the teachings of the day. All are welcome!
